Community Safety & Conduct Guidelines

For the safety of our community and to reduce legal and personal risk, please follow these mandatory rules while on masjid premises. Your cooperation helps us maintain a peaceful environment for everyone.

Masjid Rules

11 rules
  • No one under 18 is permitted to stay overnight at the masjid.
  • Children must remain under the direct supervision of a parent or a designated responsible adult at all times.
  • Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the behavior, safety, and actions of their children while on the premises.
  • Running, rough play, and disruptive behavior are not permitted inside the masjid or on masjid grounds.
  • Children are not allowed in restricted areas, including offices, storage rooms, utility areas, rooftops, and mechanical rooms.
  • The masjid is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
  • Sleeping in stairwells, entrances, hallways, or emergency exits is strictly prohibited.
  • Emergency exits and pathways must remain clear at all times. Do not block doors or walkways.
  • Bicycles, scooters, and sports equipment are not allowed inside the masjid building or on masjid premises.
  • Visitors must maintain cleanliness in all prayer halls, restrooms, and common areas. Please clean up after yourself.
  • Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco products are prohibited inside the building and near all entrances.

Parking Rules

8 rules
  • Park only in designated parking spaces.
  • Do not block fire lanes, entrances, exits, or neighboring driveways.
  • No loitering in vehicles is allowed.
  • Vehicles parked illegally or in non-designated areas may be towed at the owner's expense.
  • Always lock your car and keep valuables out of sight.
  • Drive slowly and carefully in the parking lot. Watch for pedestrians, especially children.
  • Handicap-accessible spots are reserved for vehicles displaying valid disability permits only.
  • During major events and Jumu'ah, please follow the parking attendant's instructions for orderly parking.

Liability & Safety

6 rules
  • The masjid, its management, and volunteers are not liable for any injury, accident, or loss of property occurring on the premises.
  • All visitors enter and use masjid facilities at their own risk.
  • Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or suspicious activity to the management committee immediately.
  • In case of a fire or emergency, evacuate calmly using the nearest exit and gather at the designated assembly point.
  • Do not tamper with fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, alarm systems, or any safety equipment.
  • Unauthorized persons are not permitted in electrical rooms, boiler rooms, or any restricted maintenance areas.

General Etiquette

7 guidelines
  • Please silence your mobile phones before entering the prayer hall.
  • Maintain a respectful and quiet atmosphere, especially during prayer times and lectures.
  • Remove your shoes before entering the prayer area and place them on the designated shoe racks.
  • Dress modestly and appropriately when visiting the masjid, in accordance with Islamic guidelines.
  • Photography and recording inside the prayer hall require prior permission from the management committee.
  • Do not distribute flyers, solicit donations, or promote unauthorized activities on masjid premises without prior approval.
  • Treat all community members, staff, and visitors with kindness and respect, following the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him).
