Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and the holiest month for Muslims worldwide. It is a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. During this blessed month, Muslims abstain from food and drink from dawn until sunset, focusing on spiritual growth and drawing closer to Allah.
At Masjid Al-Islam, Ramadan is a special time. We come together as a community every evening to break our fast with Iftar, pray Taraweeh together, and complete the recitation of the entire Quran by the end of the month. We welcome everyone — members, visitors, and neighbors — to join us.
"The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Quran was revealed as a guidance for mankind, with clear proofs of guidance and the criterion."
— Quran 2:185
Join us for a spiritually enriching month of worship and community
Every night after Isha prayer. Our Huffaz lead the congregation through the beautiful recitation of the Quran, completing the entire Quran by the end of Ramadan.
Iftar is served every single day at the masjid. Come break your fast with the community, enjoy a meal together, and experience the blessings of sharing food with fellow Muslims.
Complete the recitation of the entire Holy Quran during Ramadan through our nightly Taraweeh prayers. A deeply rewarding spiritual experience for the whole community.
Special supplications and remembrance of Allah throughout the month, especially during the last ten nights when we seek Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power).
Intensified worship during the last ten nights of Ramadan. Special Qiyam ul-Layl and I'tikaf for those seeking to maximize their spiritual reward.
Celebrate the completion of Ramadan with the community. Eid prayer, festivities, and joy as we thank Allah for the strength to complete the blessed month.
Please follow these guidelines to help maintain cleanliness, order, and respect in the masjid during iftar.
Jazak Allah khair for helping keep this beautiful house of Allah clean at all times. May Allah accept your efforts.
